A restaurant from Unapologetic Foods, this is a story from Eastern India, seen through the eyes of a 75-year-old immigrant from Kolkata.

Inspired by the food memories of Roni Mazumdar’s father, we bring to life the dishes he cherished most—rooted in Bengali homes, guesthouses, and streets—recreated with age-old techniques, traditional cookware, and deep reverence for the past. It’s not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake. It’s a celebration of flavor, memory, and the kind of hospitality that once defined a generation. All unfolding in a festive corner of Park Slope, Brooklyn.
